Tom Tsivgas CEO Evolution

The New Jersey CEO Evolution is part of an annual event series, hosted by Citrin Cooperman and Rutgers Business School. On November 8, 2018, Citrin Cooperman presented its annual CEO Evolution at the Newark Museum in Newark, NJ, featuring Tom Tsivgas as part of a leadership panel. Tom had discussed some of the aspects of how he was able to develop and manage YBC through innovative ideas and unique programs.

YBC Charity Event

Yesterday’s Business Computers (YBC) a leading global IT asset management firm, held it's second annual benefit on July 30, 2018 at the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedmister NJ., to raise funds for childrem of our gallen soldiers. Keynote speaker, General David H. Petraeus, participanted in an interactive interview with Tom Tsivgas, President & CEO of YBC. Renowned Medal of Honor recipient and MSNBC military analyst, Jack Jacobs, was also in attendance along with a number of military heroes, state and local community leaders and numerous C-level executives from a host of Fortune 500 corporations. This event was hosted by YBC in an effort to generate support for the Children of Fallen Patriots foundation (www.fallenpatriots.org). In addition to honoring heroes of our military., YBC introduced its unique program through which YBC donates 50% of its net profits to the non-profit foundation for any new business signed on through this effort. YBC Charity Event

On July 30, 2018, YBC will be sponsoring a military charity dinner event at the Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. The theme this year is “Around the World with David Petraeus”. For the past two years, YBC has partnered with the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, a charitable organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a military parent in the line of duty. We have developed a unique approach to generating new revenue for the foundation by donating 50% of our net profits from any new business brought on by this effort. During this event Tom Tsivgas, owner of YBC and 509th Airborne veteran, will be interviewing General David Petraeus about his military and leadership experiences over the course of his impressive career in US service, and he will be accompanied by a charming 100 year old WW2 airborne vet, a well-known former POW and Medal of Honor recipient, as well as a number of additional veteran and current public servants that support this important event and endeavor.

No-Fee Program

YBC has developed a "No-Fee Program" to accommodate large companies that typically show a net negative in their asset disposition efforts. This program offers the standard services for asset recovery but does not charge any of the fees usually associated with this process. YBC will provide full freight services, equipment inventory/audits, data wiping, reporting and recycling free of charge.

New YBC Headquarters

YBC is proud to announce we've moved our headquarters to a new facility. The 50,000 square foot building is located at 239 Homestead Road in Hillsborough, NJ. This new facility will help accommodate our recent global expansion by providing us with a much larger and more secure audit processing area and data-wiping lab. These expanded areas will increase our production capacities to over 250,000 serialized assets per year. The Grand Opening was held on Friday, June 28 2013. The celebration was attended by YBC customers, partners, local officials and Brian Kelly (formerly of the NY Giants). As an indicator of our steady growth this will mark our 7th move since the company was founded 19 years ago.

Newtech Partnership

YBC is pleased to announce we have recently partnered with Newtech Recycling Inc.. Located in Somerset NJ, Newtech is one of the leaders in utilizing the latest 'state-of-the-art' equipment for the recycling of e-waste. Established in 1995, Newtech Recycling Inc. is R2 Certified and ISO 14001 Accredited. Solid management and best-of-class practices makes Newtech a recycling industry leader. YBC looks forward to working with Newtech and enhancing operational capacities for both companies.

E-Scrap Convention

Join us in Dallas, Texas for the 2012 E-Scrap Convention. YBC will be exhibiting from September 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency. This convention is widely regarded as the premier North American event concerning IT Asset Disposition. It is a unique opportunity to analyze and assess the current state of ITAD in the US and Canada. The 2011 E-Scrap Convention drew more than 1,000 attendees and over 100 exhibitors.

Gartner ITAM Summit

YBC will be attending the Gartner IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit in Orlando, Florida from September 12th through September 14th 2012. "This summit pulls together and creates a setting for the IT financial, procurement and asset management community to connect and share ideas, experiences and best practices on the latest ITAM topics." Recycling

NJ Law now requires recycling of used computers. A state law that will force recycling of used computers went into effect on Jan 1, 2011. Officials are hoping to see the amount of e-waste recycled rise, from about 10 to 12 million pounds to 50 million pounds, the report said.
